Who am I, and why is there a hannahdustin.com website?
 

I am a 40 something IT manager for a global telecommunications company, residing in the Atlanta metro area 

since 1985. As a descendant of the Dustin and Cheney families, some of my pastimes include, travel, genealogy, 

history and web development. Since 2000,  I have enjoyed publishing hannahdustin.com in an effort to sharpen 

my web development skills while also compiling  and sharing any relevant details that I locate regarding the 

Dustin / Duston  story & Cheney genealogy. My wife and I both agree, my hannahdustin.com webpage is in fact 

an acceptable form of "male scrapbooking." ;) With almost 30,000 hits in 7 years, genealogists, educators, students 

and web surfers alike have enjoyed a compilation of resources concerning these families. We have also enjoyed 

a large number of generous people who have contributed to the website by sharing family records, photos and 

genealogy. A special thanks goes out to all who have contributed!!! A major revision is currently underway in 

2007, the new hannahdustin.com has improved graphics, photos and best of all a new  Dustin / Duston / Cheney 

Forum for all your queries regarding the genealogy and history of these and their kindred families.  This is your 

chance to submit a query, or share some of your family research. I receive many questions and queries that I 

am unfortunately not qualified to answer.
